Can you catch fish on a bobber in the fall? Yes. Is it worth it? Not in my opinion. Stick to cranks. The eyes are moving into the shallows at night. Pulling cranks allows you to cover a lot of ground and find those roaming eyes. By now, the eyes have seen quite a bit of pressure and with them moving around, they are not always to be found where you were able to toss out cork and sit on top of them like you could do in the spring. The water temps are cooling off and this, particularly, allows them to move in shallow and feed off the forage there…. especially at night with the moon giving them the advantage. Those fish are getting fat right now, I will tell you that!
