Mille Lacs trip

Thanks to everyone who gave info to me for my first fall trip to Mille Lacs. We went up with a little info and a lot of hope and had a pretty good trip. Only 5 fish hooked 3 landed one came off at the boat and one broken line. The one that we lost was by far the biggest but it happens. One 26, 24 and 22 boated. Not the big ones we hoped for but good times. Lots of wind and first time on the lake so being very cautious. Have to learn sometime. Also thanks for boat ramp info.

We also managed to find the BIG perch during the day which made for awesome fishing and lots of fish to bring home lots of 13+inchers.

did you find the perch out on the rocks or in or near the weeds?

Sounds like you guys had a good trip. It wasnt that many years ago that a couple of fish night was a good trip for me also. Glad to hear you got some perch to take home. We have been luck to see even one keeper walleye a night.
