I have been reading some posts that say that they are using spinners when fishing eyes on mille lacs. Are you actually using spinner baits or blades, or are you just talking about adding a blade to your snell like the original lindy rigs?
Most guys are using blades. Crawler harness with couple beads and a blade. You can also just add a blade and some beads to your lindy. They have been working very good this year. However lindy riggin was working better this weekend for me.

spinners are like a lindy rig with beads and a spinner. the biggest difference is you pull them a little faster than a lindy rig. the beads and spinner add weight, so you have to go a little faster to keep it from draging on the bottom. i tie my own, but most sporting good stores and bait shops sell them already tied………..tom fellegy
