Cemstone Tournament

    Is anyone on IDA planning to fish the Cemstone Tournament out of Fishermans Warf this weekend? We’re going up Friday morning to prefish and plan to fish through Sunday. Is it Friday yet??

    I was going to, but I need to spend some quality time with Stacie fishing Mille Lacs instead. Next year I think I will get back into it.

    By the looks of some of the pictures of the walleyes Stacie has caught on Mille Lacs, you would be doing good having her as a partner in the tourney.

    Or if you would be interested in swapping partners, I would be more than happy. JK.

    We’ve really enjoyed fishing this tourney the last few years. Hopefully, we’ll get back in the money again this year.

    ….me and BigFritz like to call this tourney “Walleye Festivus”…the fish really snap this time of year! Are we going to convoy up there Friday AM?

    Sounds good to me if you guys are ready to push off at 5 am. You’ll probably want to be at BigFritz house by 4:30 to make sure he is awake and ready to go by 5:00.

    Depends on what your partner looks like. JK I ‘ll keep mine.

    I fished it two years ago and now I have been out for 2. Hopefully next year I will get back in it. Especailly nice because work pays for it. I probably will see if Stacie likes to tourney fish and that tournmanet would be perfect. We can’t do the Hunter’s Couples Tourney this year, but maybe next year also.

    What time is the start?
    What is the cost?

    I think you either need to be a Cemstone Customer or Employee to fish in the tournament. I think it is by invitation, but let me know if your an employee or customer and I can get you a number to call with your questions.

    I have ordered many CY of mud from them “back in the good old days” but that was then this is now. It is no biggie. I have a ton of stuff to do around the place & really don’t even have a partner lined up.

    I’ll be staying with a guy that works for Cemstone (aka: “Stink” or some people call him Stadola). We rented a private cabin this year a couple houses down from Fishermans. I’ll try and have him introduce me to you. Good luck.
