DeeZee !! That was kick butt !! When will you be headding back up the Mille Lacs ? Sept. ? Oct. ? You must be booked solid for the fall full moon trips…if not ..pm me on some open dates…..I’ll be up in that area Oct.8-12th…

Thanks ecnook! It was another great spring/summer fishing up there this year and I wish the tournaments would have cooperated a little more for me when I needed them too, but thats tourney fishing on this lake for you! A game of inches….Come to think of it, every tourney that I have entered this year has put plenty of 27″+ fish in the boat including one tourney that I actually boated (3) 27.5″ fish for day one and day two I had one 27-3/4″ and even one that was 27-15/16″! I am not sure how much closer a guy can get without hitting that magic line! Oh well.
This fall is scheduled to be pretty busy between the river (Pool 2) and Mille Lacs. I know someone has to do the dirty work right? It might as well be me!

For all the anglers that have given up on Mille Lacs right now due to the slow bite, I would encourage all of you to go out there one more time and try some of these techniques that I have shared in my report this week. This will definately help you up your odds in triggering a few more fish. They are still there to be caught!
    Good Luck
