Ugh!!! What a day! On the water at 3am and just got off. Had about a half dozen window shoppers but no takers today. Focused on the rocks and cabbage but it didn’t pan out
Water might of been a little cool yet for their liking found mostly 65 degrees. They should start popping soon.
Anyone else been out yet? Saw one muskie guy all day today beside us.

I’ve been out the last two weekends. I’ve caught a few pike, but the muskies seem to be only looking right now and most I’ve seen are just small guys. They’ll be turning on soon enough.

Fished Vinland last Saturday and saw zip. Buddy caught 1 pike about 35 inches. About a half dozen boats muskie fishing. Some hot stable weather is needed. Saw someone break out the big net on Sunday, not sure if it was pike or ski, but it didnt look very big.

Carp are thick, anyone into bowfishing should be heading to the lake now. I bet some of the ones we saw pushed 30 pounds.

The south end usually gets rockin’ before the north end. If I was into trailering my boat all over the lake I would be focusing on the south end in the early season.

I’m really just starting to get serious about muskie fishing. I’m a lot better patterning walleyes but I’m starting to target the big silver fish more each year.
The last two Sundays i thrashed around out in Wahkon Bay . Had some follows a raises but no hookups. Did hook up w/ some mid 30″ pike though.
