Shore Fishing

    A good friend of mine is gonna be staying around the Mille Lacs area and wants to take his son (8 years old) fishing on Mille Lacs. He does not have a boat and will probably only have a few hours dedicated to fishing while staying there. I’ve always bragged to him about the quality of information on this site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have only fished there a few times. He was wondering how the park in Garrison was to fish from? Thanks in advance.

    I know of only one possible spot to try…..there is a public fishing dock in the Isle Bay near Father Hen.State Park. You might want to try there for Northerns,Bullheads, and possibly others……..
