The weather pattern from the last few days has my hopes up. It seems as though we are into a pattern of more rain through much of the state. Even if the rain doesn’t fall directly on Mille Lacs from a given storm, overall it is all good to raise the groundwater table. I am hopefull this low water problem will be behind us sooner rather than later. It sure is sad to see so many of the public ramps so high and dry.

as the ground water level raises, so will the lake level. the rain that we recieved this weekend has been good. looking down the shoreline, some starter sections of docks are in the water this morning. my creek has been running good this weekend. friday night we had a good rain, over 2 inches down here on the south end. i don’t care if it rains over the lake, just so it rains over the watershead area that drains into mille lacs………………..tom fellegy
