One more week till the real opener!

Anyone else out there getting really pumped up for the real opener???

I got out to Wisc last weekend to get some bass fishing in but it’s not official until it’s legal in MN.

And what would that be. Does walleye open in Wyoming or something, because the REAL opener was last week!! Do they ever have a Governor Bass Opener? I think not.

Having the governor involved is really something to be pround of! He should stay the h*@* in the office and figure out a plan for stopping the rape job we are getting in MN on fuel!!

I tell you, the gov is one of them that needs to have a lazy day of fishing, trolling cranks!!!! anyway, I have a club bass tourney on sunday down on pool 2, and let me tell you, that wont help me none until I can get out on the water and start popping the top waters in the pads.

I took my mother out on mothers day and had a blast with many species including bass. My mothers top fish was a 2.5 pound bass on and ultralight and then she matched that one a little later. It is a blast! Then last night I was catching them while after panfish on my 4 weight flyrod. But on the other side there are always fun fish to catch!
