I’m going into another tourney weekend on Mille Lacs and was just wondering.
What have you guy/gals been experiencing for slot fish percentages?
Include over and under sized fish.
We were 1 out of 10 earlier this summer but now spending more time on the flats, we’ve not caught a fish either side of the protected slot for 3 weeks?
Lets hear from you die hard mille lacs people. 
Was out on the flats last weekend, 3hrs. Thurs. night. 8 rough hrs. Fri., and 13hrs on Sat. On Thurs. caught 5 overs, and one 16″. Fri. caught 10 overs and 2 slots. Sat. caught 28 overs and NO slots. Never fished after dark. Crawlers worked till around 9:00am and then leeches worked better after that. Seemed to be a dead time each day from 1:30pm to 3:30. Never caught anything over 28″, but did have fun with quite a few 25″. Hope this helps and good luck!
My hooking percentage has been pretty good…. As in I think I have only lost one fish after getting bit!! lol.
The only “under slot” keepers I have caught this year were on June 7th bobber fishing the rocks before the nite ban kicked in. (Off by 10pm) I had a flurry of 4 keepers in a 15 minute period! Wish I had another person in the boat that night.
I don’t recall getting any over 28 yet. At least I did not lay it out on the ruler. Lot of 19-25 inchers for sure.
