Overall a slow day for those who I talked to, and for the other two club boats out. Started out in the morning tried a few shallow rock areas for smallies, nothing going so headed out to some gravel then north to the central lake flats. thought we tried some of the major flats and for the two of us, boated only one 21″ fish. Did talk to JonJ and he made a few suggestions which I appreciated, it just was not working for me. only had one rain cell work through the central lake area, put on the rain gear and watched it just miss us. it did scare alot of boats off the lake. so I thought that was good as most of the lake was barren of boats. didn’t really make any difference for us. keep moving to try and mark fish but didn’t. did see four fish caught on 9 mile, one boat had a double. we rigged leeches and my partners fish was on a crawler. we headed to the SE side shore rock reefs for the evening and did catch 3 smallies and lost 2 others after jumping and throwing offerings. that was it, and if you are still reading this, sorry I couldn’t add any descent info this trip.
