yeah, the beans Bob. They are the best.
I will have oil,and a few fish also. If Tuck comes looking for a can of beer for the batter he better not look in my direction.

Oh yeah, if it rains on the opener, you can thank Doug and Shrumy. They insisted we hang a 50′ x 100′ tarp, from a couple trees. I told them we wouldn’t need it, but they insisted, something about every &%$#*@^ year we say that….and it pours.

G I just wanted to hang the tarp because it looked like fun, The rain thing was secondary.

I was going to start another post for this very thing. I will bring a couple gallons of oil.

Here are some things that help:
2 (At least) more gallons of oil.
    Paper Plates.
    Paper Towels
    Forks
    Salt/pepper
    Green Tobasco (Palmer! )
    Tartar Sauce
    Buns
    Chips
    Salads
Fries (If we want to have two fryers or more going.)
    Don’s Chuckwagon Fish Batter
6 beers other than Big D’s.
    Cap’n Diet-Tall for the cook.

I will have one fryer. We should probably have two more.

    I cannot wait!

Once again, my wife is messing with the most sacred of holidays. She will not be flying back into the cities until late on Friday. I suspect I won’t get there until well after dark again this year. I expect you all will be on your best behavior before I get there.

Cal, You could just jump in with Matt and I. I know other boats fished this way last year. You’d be handy capped, but so am I with Grow running the boat. We would need to keep the fish seperate, unless yours are bigger than mine.

Schrumy, am I your partner?? Sounds a lot like me anyway.

Wife confirmed, she will be home around 7 Friday night. I’ll be getting to Josh’s place by 9. Just in time to watch you guys get the boats already to head out at 12AM.

Kooty good to hear you will be getting up earlier on Friday.

I don’t think you will have to worry about Grow running the boat. I don’t think he will have any problems anchoring up on the Formica Flats.

    Confirmed last night:

    Mike Ertl still loves drinking.

Then Big D and Josh tell me a tree fell down at the house…

Of course I thought they were lying.

    But…..
