Can somebody tell me what I saw?

    I was fishing between east and west myr mar reefs on saturday.We found a spot where the snow was completely melted and I drilled a hole in the middle.When I dropped my vexilar down the bottom 12 feet was all fish,not small fish either.They wouldnt touch anything.Anybody know what these were?Thanks in advance.

    Sounds like pout and the pods of spawners, they spawn about now and do so in large groups.

    Sounds like tullibees to me. That’s exactly how they would be schooled. Deep water…stacked vertically. And they wouldn’t bite unless you were fishing with blue-gill/brook trout style stuff/size.

    Just guessing though…..could be anything!

    Pout would be on the reefs–I think. And I also think they have already spawned.
