Cabelas tourney was here last weekend in KS. Boys were tearing up the nice big eyes, prefishing and catching ten lbers.
During the tourney, my buddies bro was out there, just fishing. Old natty jonboat with 18 hp Evinrude. He wondered what all the fancy boats were all about and heard of the tourney. He was fishing a point with other boats and hooked and landed a 7.5 lb eye…when he hooked it, the money boys all said…..its a carp, its a sheepie, been catching a ton of em…they bout gave litter to kittens when Jack pulled in that eye. Winning limit was 29+…..7.5 would look nice in the livewell.
