Today we spent some time on Mille Lacs fishing Smallies with the new H20 precision jig with some of B-FISH-N Tackle plastics. The gold speckled K-Grub was my hot color tonite!
Chris Tuckner and Myself took Stillakid out for some evening action here on Mille Lacs. The evening started out with a small rain shower and remained cloud covered right up till dark. The gold performed very well under the low light conditions. Attached here is one of my pictures tonite and I will follow this post with a few others.

    And another…….

does anyone recognize the buildings in the back ground?

It kind of gives the spot away!

That is the most bronze looking sheepie that I have seen the kid catch. Did he know what to do w/ it????

I often wonder why I spend so much time fishing walleye when smallies, cats, all sorts of other species offer so much fun. Especially since I dont eat fish very often. I guess I am just goofy like that.

I was planning to serve it up as “planked patte’ ” for Tuck and Bobber but bronze or no bronze…………..they weren’t going to “eat no sheepies”.

Thanks for taking me out guys! It was a GREAT evening!
