As I mentioned in my last posts, I was up to the lake all last week. Spent the week fishing with my wife Jane who is a pretty good stick herself, but she don’t like big rollers or bug hatches! lol.
Here is Janes best fish of the week. I shot this picture and went right on to grabbing the anchor to get off the lake by 10pm.
This next shot is of the biggest small mouth bass I have ever caught or even seen. It’s a 21.5 inch football that I was lucky enough to tie into. This is by the way the very first time I have intentially targeted SMB on Mille Lacs and it will not be the last. This one fell to a 5 inch Cotton Candy K-grub.
Anyone know where I can get a decent replica mount made?
These trips go by way too fast….
Ok, one last shot…. Can ya tell I’m really like’n these SM Bass?? I may be spoiled, but I got into a school of these 15-18 inchers that was just a blast!! 
< rare use of bananna man…lol but this was fun stuff!

nice fish!!!! looks like there is a pretty good blow this morning. looks like it is out of the northwest. only got one fish last night, it was a 16″er. only fished the last hour. got to go and cook up that fish for breakfast, the wife is hungry!
