Went out perch hunting today, got two limits that averaged 11″ plus. We thought we were going to be fishing our usual “no mans land” areas but found these before we could get that far. All were caught in 29 fow on a gravel to sand transition. These fish were zooming off the bottom to met our 1/8 oz gold go-devils 6-8 feet off the bottom. Nothing huge, but a nice batch of perch for the frying pan!
Had a few “over” walleyes also but no keepers. We got on the lake at 8:00am and were done by 10:00am.
