Mille Lacs, Crappie

    Any crappie information? Just curious if there are fishable numbers, any size, and a good starting point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    9′ – 15’FOW look for the blue on map also been great for Jumbo perch this past week.Report from today and yesterday 2 hours 4 guys limited out jumbo perch 11 crappies and 1 slot eye small minnows with red jigs

    Last week was way better and i missed out.Headed to this area on thursday for a few days.Look for a 19′ wheel house with a bunch of deer photos on the siding.Stop on in and see what were not catching

    Wow! That is really generous. People tend to be real tight lipped about Mille Lacs crappies. Very nice of you to share!

    Last year one resort owner/guide posted info on where the locals were catching some nice crappies on Mille Lacs and that weekend there were close to 200 people out there on the ice beating the crap out of them. Many of the locals got very upset about him sharing that info, and some still have not forgiven him for it.

    And those fish havent been back since.. Mille lacs crappies really cant take a beating.
