Just wanted to say good morning from the lake. Sounds like a lot f people are out fishing all ready this morning. TBO, Rootksi and I are on the rocks in front of Fishers resort this morning. Not a lot of action going on yet. 1 pout and missed 4 other bites.
Looks like good weather today. It is about 5 out right now with mild winds. The wind blew pretty good last night and I am glad to see that gone.
We will most likely be heading for Hunters around noon today. Hope to see you guys there.

Just talked to a buddy who said his old man is up there right now and has a 17″ walleye in the bucket already this morning. We are heading up after work today. It’s going to be a long day.

I’ll be heading up to Hunter’s Saturday morning, my shack is sitting
near Picard(sp) on about 23-25 feet of water. We didn’t do very good last weekend on this spot and was wondering if anyone would care to share what depth of water that has been working for them. Thanks for any help.

It looks like Joe is having way to much fun up there. Tell him to control his enthusiasm when he’s getting his picture taken.

I was hoping to catch up with you guys sometime but we ended up out on the lake all day saturday. Monica and I stopped over at Hunters for breakfast and we found Brian and was able to meet Bobber. Good to meet you Bob ! We didnt get back till after 8pm and by the time we ate dinner she was bed time.

We did end up with a limit sat of nice 16-19 inchers and Monica wooped me on the big fish. I had two buddies who were out there with us and they were 1 fish short of there limit the last time I talked to them. 1/8 oz spoons took all the legals. Every fish that hit the bobbers were slot fish. It was the 1st time I had seen that. We had a few in the slot but over half the fish were legal eaters 3:30-6pm right on top of the flats (23-25 fow). The base of the flats were holding some perch and small eyes but the tops were alot more active!
