    I was out this morning checking ice depth and harness. She looks way better than a week ago today. The ice is nice and hard, which is what I like.We are at 14 inches, when i drilled holes this morning, it was nice shaved ice, not chuncky like last week. 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton vehicles and 16 ft or less on the wheel houses for this weekend. Next week we will be letting the 1 ton and the larger wheel houses out. Be safe out there this weekend. With the sub zero temps, the ice fratures will be opening up big time. Use the bridges out there, don’t be going off the beaten track to much. Saftey, saftey,saftey #1.

    It was great fishing out of Rocky yesterday! Thanks to you and Patty for your hospitality. We ended the day with a bunch of nice slots (lost a couple big girls!), dozens of perch with a few summo jumbos and even a couple pout! The bite was crazy from about 3:30 til dark. All in all a great day on the lake and we’ll definitely be back!
