I saw a wheel house getting pulled out of the water…just off the ramp at the Isle Public Landing this afternoon. It left a big hole in the ice about 30 feet off the ramp. Some people just take the chance and not pay their access fee!! The wrecker fee would have covered a good number of road passes. Not sure what damage it did to the house…it was wet for sure!!

On another point….it’s a creek/river with current man!! Whats are you thinking?

That’s got to be a sick feeling, to see your house down and wet

I just finished my last final at the U. For the past 3 months I’ve been planning on taking my wheelhouse on the lake the night i finished class, but I’ve decided I don’t want to chance anything with the new house. what percent of people do you think are towing houses out there right now?

    0% on the main lake.

    ATV or Snowmobile travel ONLY.

There are too many cracks and holes out there right now all over the lake.

Towing them out is not the problem, it’s where you decide to access the lake! The Isle landing is not a good choice.

They are driving vehicles out in the Isle Bay….Atv travel on the main lake.

    How big is your wheelhouse?

Its 6 x 16. We just got it last year, and have been meaning to weight it but have not got around to it. So Derek, you haven’t seen anyone take a permanant out there with an atv?

Only in Isle Bay and if it were me, I would wait.. They are talking snow tomorow into Friday. That would really make me nervous not being able to see cracks.
