Bobber: Can you give us a lake level report. How does it look compared to last fall before freeze up? The weather report last night showed up to 3″ of rain in your area. That should help a bit.

Hey Dino, I think the lake level is now close to what I would call normal. My dock in the boat harbor has tires with the typical water marks on them. And by using them as a reference its close to the norm.

Yes we did get a bunch of rain/ice……it will help reduce the fire danger in the state. I had a couple of snaps fixed on my boat cover today, I plan to put the boat on the lift this wkend! Hook and I plan to get out and do some motoring…..need to check out the equipment.

I’ll be looking out front tonite for the “marble eyes” the lake is laying pretty flat right now, should be a good night to see some fish!

I just checked the water level gauge we have on a dock in the boat harbor, and the lake has come up 1 1/2 inches since last Thursday. It’s been raining here on and off all weekend. This rain will end our fire danger in the state I would think.
