The ice is moving towards the SW corner of the lake as we are having some strong NE winds gusting to 25 mph. The wind is going to be blowing the next 36 hrs or so……….

just came back from rocky reef. the ice is piled up about 20 feet high, it is over the service road, right up to the front door of the resort. i got some pictures of it and i will post them as soon as i figure it out. cove bay is out so i put the boat in and fished a little around the bullrushes, nothing doing. i also put in at the isle public and fished mcquaid’s docks and the channel out to the bay. not even a bite. there was a couple of people fishing on the docks didn’t see them catch anything either. water temps in the channel was around 55 and out in cove bay it’s around 43.

    Bobber,
Nice picture. It’s nice to be able to see the rocks below the water. I haven’t been able to see through six inches of water for over a month. It’s nice to be able to see the fish in the livewell. TGIF

Thanks Bob for the pic. What a pleasant site to see her opening back up after a long winter.
Keep us posted on the wind, rain, and ice conditions?
Heard any crappie reports in the marinas over last weekend?
