Hey all, just wanted some suggestions on where a good place to stay would be in June. 6-7 guys, bringing own boats. Just looking for a cabin, etc.. Slipping the boats isn’t necessary..but could be nice. Looking at last week of June right after Father’s Day. Havent been there in 4 years, but last time we were there at the same time and did really good out on the Mud. Last time we were there, we roughed it….so this time we are looking for a cabin, or resort….just don’t need to break the bank. Any suggestions would be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Brian

Hey Wilk, see that flashing box in the upper right corner of your screen for Hunters? Click on that and check them out, I know a lot of people from the site like to hang out there…must be something good!

You can’t go wrong with hunters, but there are many fine places on Mille Lacs. If the wind blows, you may end up trailering over to the other side of the lake anyway. Don’t get to caught up in where you stay, as long as you are willing to drive, you will be near good fishing

Thanks guys! Scott…Last time I was there…we did exactly that. Put in one day on the East side, the next couple days on the west because of the wind. The most important thing to us is finding a cabin big enough to accomodate 7 guys.
Thanks for the all of the suggestions.

I would suggest cabin # 5 at Hunters.

I looked at all of the resorts from the links provided and I was also thinking that cabin 5 at hunters looked like the best fit for my group. Thanks guys!
