As I’m sure many of you are aware In-Depth Outdoors (parent company for IDA) was up on Mille Lacs filming night footage over the October full moon. Our plans are to release a 2+ hour long INTERACTIVE dvd that covers every last aspect of how to catch trophy walleye, pike and muskie at night in the fall.

This dvd is ON SCHEDULE for release Dec. 1, 2006!

At this time I thought it might be nice to throw out a couple sample clips so everyone could get a feel for how things are going and what the finished product is going to look like.

I’m posting up two different video clips in two different files / player sizes. Basically I’m offering one clip for dial-up (small) and another for broadband (large.)

This first clip is the intro piece to our DVD and will also be the intro for In-Depth Outdoors TV episodes COMING SOON!

This second set of clips was put together as a thank you to G3 boats for their help with making this dvd shoot possible.

We hope you enjoy them and I’ll have more clips SOON that will give everyone a better feel for what the dvd itself has to offer.

FYI – We’re planning on starting to take pre-orders for this DVD on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006!

*** ABOUT THE VIDEO FORMATS ***

All of these clips, and all future clips to be offered here on the site, will be made available in FLASH 8 format.

Flash is the industry standard for delivering video. 98% of all browsers can play flash videos but just in case you need an update here’s the link to the download >>> http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

If you can hear the audio but can’t see the video, you need the download.

looks great! Too bad you can’t use some ACDC “Thunderstruck” intro music when handling some of those nice fish. Great job!

    WOW!!!

Great stuff, fresh angles and good music. If that is anything like the rest of the video it will be fantastic. I will post some stuff I have when it is done.

    Dear James,

I must say, it looks really good. Great job and great effort. Thank you so much. What I also particularly appreciate is seeing how you pros actually fish. I noticed that on the G3 boats, although u have the windsceen, u guys have additional sonar screens mounted on the port rear gunwale, which appears to be all carpetted. I also noticed that the rear seats of the G3 appear to be taller than the Lunds. U guys actually look quite comfy fishing that way. I must say also, the graphics on the G3 boat that you guys fished in looked REALLY REALLY nice!! The 200HP HDPI? motor and the T8 look real menacing!!

The 185 G3 we fished out of was fantastic on mille lacs. As many of you know I’m a huge yamaha fan and the 200 HP four stroke with the T8 kicker is a super combo. Both are quiet, super efficient on gas and of course the T8 made boat control effortless.

In the DVD I go into detail on how to set up your “work station” at the back of the boat as you saw in the video clip. Having everything close at hand and in a convenient location that allowed for responsive boat control is a key to consistently catching these fish regardless of the conditions.

Also TSC2, we were not sitting in chairs in the back, we actually were sitting on the back deck. But you are right, that was quite comfy come to think of it. Also I being a Mercury guy was quite impressed with the Full Windshield Yamaha’s G3 boat. Nice & Deep and seemed a lot bigger than the 18.5 feet it was.

My understanding is that they plan to come out with a 20+ footer in 2007 to broaden their line-up. That boat will be about as spacious as they come.
