Action was good in the Garrison area from 8-12 Friday night. Fishing solo I landed 15. Largest went 25.5, about half were slot fish. Few light biters, most hits were fairly aggressive. Speed changes were essential with most fish hitting on the slow down turn. I don’t think I got any fish except on turns. Found fish on the inside weed line. HJ-10 & 12, TS and Clown were the colors.

Launched out of Terry’s after a bad experience at Casino Bay last weekend (The wind pushed me too far south so I had to get out and walk.) Worth the $ on a windy night, though the steeper ramp takes some getting use to.

Thanks for the report Big Northern. Sounds like you had a good night. I will be heading up there shortly with my brother to fish tonight & tomorrow night. Will post how we do when I get back on Monday.

It seems pushing your boat out of the shallow rocks is getting to be common place at that access.

I had to do it a couple of fridays ago also.

Not a nice sound hearing fibergass scrape over rocks.

Not to mention how it feels to jump into 48 degree water.

Been there, done that. My feet felt much better… about 5 hours later.

I got stuck at that access over the oct full moon. That night was so warm it almost felt good to jump in . I have been using my T8 to get in and out at that access with no problems since. Stay to the right as you are heading out and you should be fine (with a kicker at least )
