Ice House Season coming to an end….

This past week I have noticed that some resorts are starting to pull houses off the lake. This coming weekend is the last weekend for catching Walleye on Mille Lacs. With winter finally showing it’s face here in Mn. the resorts will be in a hurry to get the houses off the lake.
The snow and high winds here yesterday have left some heavy drifts around the houses on the lake. I would guess some flooding might now be occuring in these areas.

Many of the resorts here on the eastside of Mille Lacs have started to pull their houses off the lake. Hunters Point has pulled a large number of theirs and Agate Bay started pulling this weekend and as of Monday afternoon they had ALL theirs in……….
Once the big lake is vacated of all the fishouses it’s a waiting game here for open water. Thats only two months away?
