New Slot to begin on The Opener!

    I think that this will be a good move here. We have had an increase in the yearly total allowable catch for the coming year. And with all the changes of protected slots we have had on Mille Lacs, it would be great to start with one that would run through the entire season!
    Today in the local paper the Mille Lacs Messenger the DNR reports that we have ONLY harvested 10,000 lbs of walleye this ice season. I think as slow as the fishing has been that that number might be HIGH !

    Let’s hope for a good summer bite again on the big pond.

    I really can’t even entertain the idea. The entertainment (while it last) far exceeds anything I could get out of the whole deal. It’s almost as good as the old days (10 years past) when I had the Stanger boys in the boat with me. Those where the days.
    Oh by the way, Look out for team green this year. I have a new plan of attack.
