Fished the west side on Friday night. Started around 4:30 with nothing coming to the boat until just before dark. Caught 1 Northern along the weed edge. There was a little breeze blowing when just like that it stopped. The fish starting hitting as the wind died. Then it started raining with a few snow pellets thrown in. The fish quite right after that started. Must of been a fluury as the front was coming through. Still continued to catch fish, but they were alot slower than earlier. Caught all our fish on 3 plugs, HJ glass perch, Rouges in Black / Gold and Black / silver. Fished between 5.5 and 8 feet of water. Most fish seemed to be in the 6.5 foot range. Trolled at 1.4 to 1.6 MPH. We wound up catching 16 fish with a 26.06 the biggest. Most were from 24 to 26. Caught 5 fish for the table from 18 to 21 63/64. That was close to the 22 inch line but it would not touch it. Caught our last and biggest fish at 1:20AM. Made one more trolling run and called it a night around 2. It was a little chilly, but the fish keep us warm.
