What landings are you guys & gals using at Mille Lacs? I drive a 620 Ranger and it’s getting tougher finding a place to launch with confidence. Any info would be much appreciated.

I wnet to MyrMar last Friday and they had it tore up and redoing it. That used to work for me. I ended up going out of Barnevelds on Friday night and had no issues with my 620.

Friday was real slow for me Matt. I did not see many fish shallow in my usual good spots. I did notice them off the break but still could not get them to bite either. The water temps did drop 8-11 degrees from 2 nights prior, I’m guessing this caused the slow down.

Wab- As of Friday Myr Mar was tore up, not sure about now???

Yes, Terry’s was another one I used in the last few weeks and had no issues either.

On the south end the place to go is Fredrickson’s Marina. In Wahkon take Lake Shore Blvd to the fork with Bennett. Bear left on Bennett and it is on the end of the road. Deep launching area and if you steer slightly to the left leaving the harbor. Small parking area but there is an inside cleaning area and rr & shower. No vandalism problem, Chip F. is a big guy who used to play DE @ SDSU and still lifts for fun.
The other ramps (Dundees, city park,) are to shallow & I’ve seen quite a few bigger boats leaving from there & going over to Island View & Dundees.
I keep mine on a lift but have sent visitors to Fredrickson’s rather than hav problems launching out over the beach.

Myr Mar was torn up on Sunday 10/15. Any news on if they are planning on fixing this year?

Rocky Reef Resort has a good access. Saw a few 620’s in and out with no problems.

Terry’s is a good launch. Shouldn’t be any issues with your boat.
