We launched out of Casino Bay. When we came off the water there was a can under my windsheild wiper. I didn’t think anything of it and just put it with the rest of my trash. I did look to make sure all was OK in the truck. Loaded the boat and pulled home. When I went to unhook the boat, whomever had pulled my trailer latch up. I have a lock on it so it was not completely free, but I drove home this way. I will check every time now. I don’t have a clue why anyone would have done this, but we could have lost the boat on the way home.

2nd thought. Those green and red headlamps are great for deer hunting. Very confusing when boats are coming at you trolling. There were a couple guys with those on last Saturday. If it was not as bright with the full moon, I would have been hard pressed to know where they were going.

Glad everything worked out with the trailer.

Those colored headlamps gave me fits all weekend too. Two guys in a ranger fishing near us on Sunday both had green headlamps. When they were coming towards me I would sometimes see one green (bow), sometimes two or 3. When they were going away, guess what…I would see green from the guy at the kicker as well as his stern light. Was he going away or towards me…..tough call to make at 4 am!!!!

Please guys, let’s stick to white out there. The colored lights sound like a good idea but they are a really really bad idea!

What would be the advantage of a green headlamp? Did see some really cool blue lights on rods though Sat. night on the south end.

Cateyes makes a green light, and it is supposed to be hard for game to see. Might be good for the woods, but I don’t know about fishing.

I have tried the Cateyes-red,green and white–in a ice house with low lighting or walking on snow the Green is the ticket- on open water all colors match the shore line lights it makes it darn tought to see the pisition or direction of any lights out there-it can be dog gone scrary- the best lights are the ones on launchs- but they cant see you either with them on and moving– maybe beacon lights on boats- radar scopes–

I hear ya!! Someone scratched my tandom axle Rangertrail trailer front to back of fender. $500-700 damage to fiberglass alone. That what I get for parking in Eddys hotel lot sat. night.
