    Got some nice keepers and lots too big. The colors that worked on the west side was the glass shad. #5 worked the best.

    Boy was it busy and tough to land a fish last night – either there was a boat right behind you or the wind was blowing you all over the place. The worst was the couple of boats who didn’t bother to check their lights before going out.

    Got into some nice perch during the day and the Rapala filet knives were really heating up – when doing a limit for 4 people, that thing never missed a beat.

    Got to admit…..
    I’m quite impressed with the performance of the Salmo Perch. I got schooled HARD with that bait on Friday night by Derek. Derek is SUCH a nice guy to show me how his ONE Salmo Perch works sooooo well on the rocks. I really got good at the net!

    I will second that Gary. Had the same problem Friday night. Same lure and amount of line out and my buddy caught 3 to 1 on me. Both lures were running true.

    Nope, my problem Friday night is that I didn’t have a Salmo Perch at the first part of the night and a Yozuri Crystal minnow the 2nd half of the night. But, my red-tail Long Cast minnow pulled in a 26″, so I didn’t get skunked.

    The next night, tail dancers and rattling rogues pulled fish into the boat……..same area, same wind, same depth, line length, ect…….Just a different day of the moon for working rocks!
