Just wondering if the launch by the Casino is usable? If not where is the next best and closest?

I don’t know about the launch, but there are fish directly in front of it in 3-4 ft of water

It is VERY shallow. Bad on a good year in my opinion! I would put in at Terry’s Hidden Harbor, or Pikes.

Pikes is worse…..it has rocks ….at least the casino access is all sand…. but still very very shallow…if you do use that access stay to the south and line yourself up with the dock as you head out and coming in!!!!

Myr Mar is in good shape only 7 bucks also….

Going in and out of the Casino ramp, If you use it, KEEP your motor way up, and go STRAIGHT OUT (to at least 3 foot water depth) AND STRAIGHT IN.
The red bouy with the red light on it, keep it just on the north side of the boat, BOTH directions. you CAN NOT come quartering into it from the SE or NE direction.

Casino Launch is just fine as long as there isn’t a strong east wind. Just keep the motor trimmed up and go straight out until you get out to around 3′ like Jack says!! Then giver hell!!

I would use the South side ramp at the casino also. The North side is so uneven makes getting boat on trailer a little difficult.

Jack, as of Tues. evening, the cans have been pulled at the casino landing. Just an FYI

Mille Lacs County started pulling all their bouys on Monday, and they usually get them all off in only a couple days.

On this ramp if the cans are gone, USE extreme caution, there are lots of shallow rocks pretty far out.

Stay to the south and go straight in and out and you should be ok.

How much do they charge at Terrys?

That’s in St Alban’s bay, right?
