As much as I love pulling cranks this is also prime rigging time during the day with BIG minnows. I’ve been able to occasionally get creek runs at Tutts. I have not really found any in the south end bait shops. I know Vados had some redtails a couple of weeks ago but I’m looking for some at the lake. Any one know of a scource in the area?
Since Mille Lacs has been found to have milfoil they can’t seine bailt from the lake anymore. Is this correct? Can they get bait from feeder creeks and streams anymore? That is if any of them are running.
The creeks that inflow to ML have signs showing where the ML regs take effect. I would think that applies for seining. I believe licensed bait trappers can still trap.
