The local resort (Hunters Point) has been pulling houses from daybreak until late into the evening since last thursday. Most of them are going out as far as two mile then south. There are some recent pressure cracks newly healed to the north out of Hunters Point two mile that they are not ready to pull across. The ice is still marginal for driving just anywhere, and the resort just started letting people drive out cars yesterday, up till then only snowmobiles and all terrain vehicles.
Be safe, call or check with the local resorts before venturing out off the beaten path.
