With all the reports starting to filter in from this past weekend, I thought I’d get up and check things out myself this week. Spent last night with a good friend from IDA (B.Peterson). Hit Hunters landing around 6:30 and decided to hit some east side rocks. Water temp was 63.5 when we got on the water and 62.5 when we got off around midnight. Spent most of the night just trying to find a good consistant bite. We would pull three or four in a short pass, then nothing up and back. Switched cranks alot and changed speeds alot. We finally put some nice fish in the boat. The biggest were just under 29″ with a few in between 22-26 and the rest under 20″. Last night we caught most of our fish in 6-8 fow on HJ #12’s. We also landed most of our fish with alot of S-turns and under 2 mph. The picture is my biggest of the night. I’m looking forward to the next couple months and a little bit colder water.
