Well the water temp on Mille Lacs last night was still 70 deg. We had another warm and sunny day with calm wind. We really need some cooler weather to get the fish going here on Mille Lacs…….maybe a cool rain this wednesday-thursday might lower it some?
FULL MOON THIS SATURDAY………….. 
Darn! That is about what it was (temp) last Saturday. After tonight it is supposed to get much colder. I hope that is in time for the full moon. I’ll be dragging cranks Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
It sounds like it might be cloudy tomorrow too. I think I am going to haul out the colorful, but not necessarily reflective lures (firetiger, or like James suggests: clown)
As of last evening the water temps have dropped to 67 degrees. 
Well tonite with the cooler weather we have been experiencing we are now down to 57 deg. water temp.
most areas away from the lakes in this area had a good frost on the grass this morning!
