Tagged fish report

    Over the weekend I received a Certificate of Appreciation for the reporting of a tagged walleye from the DNR. It tells where and when it was tagged and the sex of the fish. This was from the one I caught on opening weekend. As the study goes on hopefully they will include other times the fish has been caught and reported too. Still waiting on the other 4 I have called in.

    I got a couple back this weekend too. I would love to see the full report on the fish I caught. I wonder if they are learning that there are more or fewer walleyes than they had been guestimating.

    In the fine print they say they will publish a list of multiple caught fish, this fall on their website and in Outdoor News.

    I’ve waiting to get something back. I was able to send in qutie a few over the whole summer and am very interested to see where and when the fish were tagged.
