The lake has some ice floating around yet, but for the most part is open. On some shorelines along the lake we might have ice piles on opening weekend!
With the open water brings the tribal netting……..
The tribal netting is already underway at the public access at Cedar Creek on the eastside of Mille Lacs Lake.
I just got back from the big pond myself and there was actually a nice walleye chop around big point.It was good to see the area again even if it was just to do some work on my camper.I saw lots of boats on the road today as I went north I think guys are getting the fever even with all this lovely snow.Brett
