“Perch Action on Mille Lacs”

I have finally heard of some perch being caught! This winter has been slow for the most part.

I have heard of some nice catches coming in from the deep water off malmo 3 mile…….Castaways has a road plowed out to this area! Small ant jigs with wax worms has been the ticket.

The ice should hold up for a few more weeks here on Mille Lacs, do call ahead and check with your bait shop or resort for the most current lake access conditions.

Lakeside, Liberty Beach,Castaways, and myr mar have road access still open……….
