Results from the Feb.9th 2002 Hunter’s Point Perch and Eelpout contest. The winning Perch was 1.21 and the pout was 3.02……..not many big perch were caught today with the big weather change that we had here in the state. The photo attached shows the heavy snow that we experienced. The wind blew up to around 25-30 mph and than the snow started around 10am. The contest was the 5th annual and if you missed it, you missed a good time. George and Linda Nitti had lot’s of nice door prizes to give away. But again I did’nt win….guess I’ll have to wait for the Liberty Beach Perch Extravaganza coing up Feb.23rd for my next chance?
