Friendly Resorts

    Hey guys!

    Wondering if anyone can recommend a good resort on the south side of Mille Lacs. I will be fishing the Minnesota Muskie Tournament this August and need to stay on the lake. I will be fishing with Kentucky guide Tony Grant (record holder) and would like to show him some of our fine resorts.

    If friendly is the criteria… Scenic Bay Resort is my suggestion. Owned by Tim and Tina Chapman… great people! I think you can find everything you need to know about Scenic Bay at Scenic Bay Resort

    Tell them James sent you. I haven’t spoke to them since late this fall and consider them a “must stop” for some great conversation during my guiding on Mille Lacs each fall.

    Steve, I would second that vote……….Tim likes to go after those big dogs to, Steve we should talk about your areas to fish on Mille Lacs. I fish walleye and small mouth mostly. But I sometimes know where them ugly muskies are……………Just kidding about ugly!
