I wanted to put on a quick report from this weekend. Things were the same as they have been over the last week in my boat. Transition areas were once again the key to our success. Leeches/Crawlers on single hooks worked the best. Biggest was 29, netted several fish in the 24-27 range. My client this weekend wanted to find big fish, so we stayed deep and it payed off for him. We worked the east side rocks and deep gravel. It was a great weekend for fishing. I know people caught lots of walleyes many different ways this weekend, cranks/slipbobber/lindys…I would say that the lake is in full swing. I will be taking time off for the next couple of weeks (Baby #2 on the way this week). I look forward to reading everyones reports while I am away…they should be good!
