anyone pulling cranks on mille lacs?

    just curious how people did pulling cranks at night on mille lacs. when does the night ban start/stop?

    the night ban went into effect this morning at 12:00:01 and will last til june 14 ish!!! I am not certain on the date check the lawbook for exact dates!

    You can still fish til 10pm now through that date in June!!!

    I did notice quite a few boats trolling last night as we were coming home from bobber fishing… don’t know how they did just seen a lot boats near the shoreline!!!

    Cranks produced a lot of fish for our boat this weekend, we caught fish on several different style lures from, cabelas brand to storm to rapala and from shad to sticks. Cabelas shad(white) gets the nod for best producer. Magic speed seemed to be from 1.5-2.0.

    On Mille Lacs the night ban goes off at 12:01am June 12.

    I’ve had little experience pullin’ cranks early in the season. What types of structure do you target this early? I’m assuming you are hitting up the shallows…
