Opener/Meet some IDA’ers

    Hey guys,

    This year I am lucky enough to spend 5/14 – 5/19 on the Mille Lacs. Are any of you going to be up there during the middle of the week? If so, I would like to meet up and exchange some info about what is hot or not. My plan is to fish the east side of the lake – sand or rocks depending on the wind. Shoot me a PM or give me a call if anyone is interested.

    Hey Brett,

    I know several guys who will be pre-fishing for the FLW league event on the 20th. So your chance of running into some IDA’s is probably pretty good. I expect them to be pretty tight lipped though, you know how those tourney guys are.

    Right now I am undecided about the MTT. I haven’t fished any tourneys this year due to buying a house and changing jobs. It was actually kind of nice to fish pool 4 this spring without the added pressure of having to catch fish! I am hoping by spending a week on the pond that I will be able to finally start gaining a little bit on the learning curve for this body of water – seems as if the lake always wins when I go up there.

    Are any of you guys going to be having a few at night? That always seems to be a good way to meet some folks.
