Mille Lacs Lake water temp is up to 52 deg’s!

    Spent sometime on the water yesterday and found the surface water temperature up to 52 deg’s………

    49 degs from cove bay to vineland bay. the rain cooled it down some today. friday it was up to 54 to 57 degs out in the main lake.

    This 48 hour plus rain will cause many changes on area lakes for temp and levels. I can’t believe it is still raining here.

    I have read that Mille Lacs co. is in a restricted burn area, which I think means that if this restriction continues we won’t be able to enjoy drinks around the campfire. Any reports on rain amounts around the big pond, interested in hearing about the North side, Thanks

    That only effects permit burning not recreational. The north side is in Aitkin county. Its also been raining since yesterday.

    thanks for the reports Bob~~When do we get some video like Mr. Jordan? What’s the graph/underwater camera been showing out there?
