Hey all, I’ll be staying most of the weekend with “the other Putz” and his family at Izatys. Just looking for some tips on locations we should be concentrating our efforts on.

I plan on coming up Friday morning and going out of hunters for the morning bite. Is vehicle traffic still allowed, or should I yank the sled out? Or should I say attempt to yank the sled out, since a previous outing the snowmobile and i didn’t seem to agree?

Anyone else fishing out of hunters or izatys this weekend?

    Thanks,

    Jami

Jami, the conditions have improved from your last trip to Hunters! The cracks are better, ya still have to cross acouple of bridges but overall the ice is good. I measured around 20+ of ice in the areas we fished yesterday.
The word is that we were alittle late on the ice yesterday! should have passed on breakfest and hit the lake early. The reports that I have seen are that they bit early and late in the day. We fished from 8:30am to 12:30pm……bad

Oh well, it was good visiting with puddlepounder and George anyways!!!

Good luck! hope to see some pic’s!!

I’ll probably be going out of Hunter’s this weekend(Fri-Sun). Bob, are you going to be on the ice?

Thanks for the info Bobber. I will be heading out of hunters bright and early Friday morning. I’ll be sitting pretty much in the same spot we were in for the gtg. If you’re out, swing on over, maroon dakota with a black topper. Otherwise I’ll try to catch you at Hunters for lunch, and a cold one
