Bobber, you might know more about this fella than I, so please jump in here.

    January 7th ’06

The owner of this dodge decided to not follow the roads that the resorts maintain. He found out the hard way what a pressure ridge is.

    One more.

Best Bet? Check in at a resort or with Bobber for current ice conditions…and stay on the maintained roads!

So that is what that metal contraption just off Hunter’s is for I thought it was to help them with bridges. That would really ruin a good weekend

You don’t explian anything to the wife BrianK. You hold on to the steering wheel and don’t let go. Just like a crippled duck

Resort traffic moving slowly on south end of MilleLacs–snow is mostly gone, ice is starting to evaporate but no sign yet of honeycombing and rippling. Best be on your guard with spikes in pocket and door cracked/ consult resorters and stay on roads in Feb. sun.! Be careful out there, guys.
Sunday a.m. hungry perch were rare but big. Going back today and will watch for that lifter on east side–hope I don’t ever need it. Saw one at Devils Lake ND a few years ago that looked like radio towers laid on their sides with boat lift. Don’t want to have to try that one either! Anyone got a good deal for me on a reliable used ATV with blade?

Sometimes it’s best for the captain to go down with the ship versus this:
