Any IDAers gonna be there. I’ll be the short bearded fat guy with the Blue Fishers of Men Jacket that says “The Bass Pastor” on the front.
If past history is any indication, just one jumbo perch is enough to put you in the prizes. Therefore my plan is to fish a Glow Demon with a bunch of maggies on it. Personally I’m shooting for the 4-Wheeler at 20th place.

Man there was a lot of people out there this year. It seemed to be almost double the people of last year. I managed to pitch a goose egg despite having many bites from small perch and couple of promising bites on big minnows.
Pout were 3 out of the top 4 places with a walleye in 3rd. I think there was 1 tulibee in the top 10, one other walleye in the top 20 and the rest were perch, including a couple that bested a pound.
Maybe my luck will change next year. At least the rain held off.
I wish we would have seen this before!
