Mille Lacs report 11/8

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA castaway!!!!! The ranger was the only boat out last night! I don’t know cause of stupidity or because of its desire to catch fish so much!!!
Started fishing at 7 pm last night out of “Slot machine” bay again! We had fish almost immediatley! My first fish was to be my biggest of the night a fat 25″er! The slot fish are still on a tear, in a conservative figure I would say we boated at least 20 fish under 20″! Bigcrappie from the site was on a tear with the snot rockets last night! I think he had 4 and I had 1 slimy sob!! The fishing was good for the first couple hours then the down time came between 9-10pm!! Picked up three more fish after 10 pm then the gail force winds started!! Holy crap was it windy, started to rain. We had whitecaps in slot machine bay and the wind was out of the west!! We called it a night at 11pm!! Lots of slot fish like I mentioned earlier! It was also night to have the entire bay to ourselves! Fish are still active!! Water temp is still 47.1 degrees! It shaping up to be a great great great full moon bite next week!!

Nice Job. Based on my recent experiences, I am not surprised at all. I agree, next week should be good and really, I think it will be okay right up to ice over.
